Funeral services for Gloria Gene Hines Brewster, age 72 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Corner Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Gloria was born on April 18, 1948 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away on January 15, 2021 in Monroe, LA. She was a resident of West Monroe and retired from G.M. Delphi.

Gloria was preceded in death by father: Blanchard Hines Sr; mother: Helen Roberts Hines; brother-in-law: Jerry Peoples.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 45 years: Gene Brewster; sons: Emmitt S. Cowart Jr. and wife Natalie, Jason Cowart, Tracy Cowart; sister: Sue Hines Peoples of Calhoun, LA; brother: Blanchard Hines Jr. of Goldonna, LA; blessed with nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
