A memorial visitation for Mrs. Regina Faye "Gina" Stokes, age 73 of Hico, LA will be held from 1:00-3:30 PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Scott Hamilton Warehouse in Dubach.

Gina was born March 13, 1950 in DeSoto, MO to O.B. and Eva Mae Akins and passed away April 2, 2023 in Monroe, LA. She served her country and her fellow Airmen in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse. Gina continued to serve for her community as a volunteer firefighter for Lincoln Parish. She truly loved her community and always tried to help out where she could. Gina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was everyone's "Mamaw." She always made sure that her house of "adopted boys" were full and properly fed. Gina was a housewife and loved to cook for her family. She also enjoyed baking and loved making wedding cakes the most. Gina was the event coordinator for the Drabo chicken fest every year. She also loved to fish.

Gina is survived by her husband Lloyd Stokes of Hico, LA and grandson Cordell Willett and wife Megan of Hot Springs, AR.
