Memorial services for Gail Stinson, age 81, a retired college librarian of Bossier City, will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Juliet Spencer officiating.  Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Gail was a librarian for Louisiana Tech and director of the Audio Visual Center at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and taught AV classes there.  She loved traveling with family and friends and going on church trips. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  Gail also enjoyed family camping loving being around her family.  She collected rocks and pennies in parking lots at the risk of getting hit by a car.  Gail is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Anthony Stinson and sister, Jackie Wisenbaker.

Gail is survived by sons: Keith Stinson of Sibley, LA, Greg Stinson and wife Betsy of Bossier City, LA, and Erich Stinson and wife Michelle of Houston, TX; daughter: Lisa Stinson Lopez and husband Rick of Sibley, LA; brother: Walter Leutwyler and wife Cathy of Plano, TX; grandsons: Brian Stinson and wife Brandi of New Iberia, LA, Chris Mueller of Houston, TX, Mathew Stinson of Littleton, CO and Ryan Stinson of Houston, TX; granddaughter: Ashleigh and husband Dr. Brad Anders  of Ruston, LA and great-grandchildren: Madelyn Stinson, Logan Stinson, Brie Stinson, Brinna Stinson and Lily Anders.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at Owens Memorial Chapel.
