Funeral services for Faye Younse, age 88, a retired homemaker of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Rock Corner Baptist Church in Dubach with Rev. Larry Bullock officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Faye played basketball in her younger days.  She liked watching sports and game shows on TV and piddling out in the yard.  Faye loved spending time with her family and working in the Prayer Garden at Rock Corner where she was a lifelong member.  Faye is preceded in death by her parents: John Calhoun Younse and Maude Hancock Younse; a sister: Estelle Younse Revels; and brothers: Charlie Royse Younse, Will Clayton Younse, Thomas M. Younse and William Aster Younse.

Faye is survived by a sister-in-law: Billye Sue Younse; nieces: Peggy Posey and husband Ronny of Choudrant and Pattie Gay and husband Randy of Ruston; nephews: John Revels and wife Linda of Ruston, Henry Revels and wife Ruth of Ruston, Thomas Revels and wife Betty of Ruston and Thomas Younse and wife Judy of West Monroe; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rock Corner Baptist Church, 824 Rock Corner Road, Dubach, LA 71235.
