Farrell Claude Young, age 64 of Simsboro, LA, was born January 14, 1960 to parents, William Autrey Young and Mildred Margaret Thigpen Young. He worked at Haynes International for 34 years. Claude loved sitting on his front porch swing drinking coffee and telling stories. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling. Claude loved helping his family with problems such as carpentry and other like problems and spending time with them. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. Claude also loved his dog "Boogie". He touched the lives of all who met him. Claude passed away on January 27, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Mildred Young; brothers: Darrell Keith Young, Sr. and Victor Glen Young; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Young; nephew, Jarrell Wayne Young, Jr.; and niece, Kaitlyn Young.

Claude is survived by his brothers: Joe Young, Jarrell Wayne Young, Sr., and Harold Autrey Young; son, Autrey (Ginger) Young; grandchildren: Lindsey, Daniel, and Noah and numerous nieces and nephews.
