Gravesides services for Essie Simmons, age 75 of Ruston will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun with Rev. Greg Morrow officiating.

Essie retired from the Lincoln Parish School Board and enjoyed her many years there.

Essie is survived by son: Eddie Wayne Simmons and wife Cathy and their daughter Elizabeth Ann Simmons; brother in law: Glen Allen Simmons; nephews: Chris Allen Simmons and Douglas Ray Massey.

Essie is preceded in death by parents: Jessie Lee Taunton and wife Johnnie; husband: Louis Wayne Simmons; sister: Addie Geraldine Massey; mother in law: Wilma Janice Leslie Simmons and father in law: Louise Edgar Simmons.
