Funeral services for Donna Anne Thibodeaux, age 54 of Crowley, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA with  Rev. Stan Pody officiating.  Burial will follow in the Simsboro City Cemetery in Simsboro, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Donna loved spending time with her son, Kris and wife Heather when they came down to visit.  She also loved to cook, doing charcoal art work and helping people.  She worked in nursing homes and enjoyed taking care of the elderly.  Donna also enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters and loved animals.  She was a gymnast at the Gold Dome at Centenary College in Shreveport and her favorite singer was Usher which sang her favorite song, 'Yeah'.  Donna is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Allie Estelle Taylor Stovall and Fred Jack Stovall and paternal grandparents, Suzie Mae Jones Sanford and Doc Larkin Sanford and her father, Donald Drew Sanford, Sr.

Donna is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Stovall of Keithville, LA; her son, Kristopher Brandon Hancock and wife Heather of Oklahoma City, OK and siblings: Tammy Teresa Sanford, Rhonda Gail Sanford and Sonya Lynnette Prather of New Bern, NC and Donald Drew Sanford, Jr., Carla La'Deane Sanford, Elizabeth Anne Sanford Mayeaux, Jennifer Thurston, Roger Allen Sanford, Herbert Larkin Sanford, Cody Ryan Sanford and Todd Daniel Sanford of South Texas; three great-nephews, two great-nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers are Bradley Hancock, Justin Axton, Clint Coleman, JimBo Mills, Kanton Brown and William Rowell.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel.
