Funeral services for Donna Sherman, age 77 of Choudrant, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 in the chapel of Owens Memorial Funeral Home of Ruston with Rev. Jim Manning officiating. A private, graveside service and burial will follow in Sibley Cemetery in Choudrant.

Donna was born June 19, 1943 in McKeesport, PA and was called home by her heavenly Father on October 13, 2020 in Ruston, LA. She loved to read and watch hummingbirds outside. Donna also enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A passion of Donna's was to help other people with anything they needed. Some of her favorite things to do were gardening, crocheting, quilting and drinking coffee while visiting with her sisters.

Donna is survived by children: Gary Sherman of Downsville, LA, Doug McDonald and wife Missy of Knoxville, TN, Joyce McDonald of Choudrant, LA, Scott Blaufuss and wife Missy of Surprise, AZ, Deron Sherman and wife Donna of Ruston, LA, Robert Sherman and wife Laura of Monroe, LA, Heather and husband Kevin Callender of Choudrant, LA; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and sister: Virginia Witt of Ft. Stockton, TX.

Donna is preceded in death by husband: G.W. Sherman; granddaughter: Maddie Sherman; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; parents: Luther Decker and wife Edna.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher McDonald, Landon McDonald, Bradley Callender, Elijah Callender, Aaron Sherman, and Clay Boyd.

Visitation for Donna will be held at 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
