Graveside services for Warren David Jenkins, 71 of Lillie, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 10, 2020 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Choudrant LA, with Pastor Rick Walter of Connect Point Church of Bernice, LA officiation. Services will be under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Dave, as he liked to be called by his family and friends, was born May 10, 1948 in Charleston, WV. He was a longtime member of Connect Point Church. Dave's greatest accomplishment according to him was when he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized on February 17, 2011, he's been a faithful servant ever since then. Dave's favorite place to be was Connect Point Church operating the sound system for the services. He was there every time the doors were open. Dave loved men's breakfast at the church, old movies and classical music. He was retired from working for different radio stations in the Northeast area as a radio announcer. Dave worked at several convenient stores as a clerk and assistant manager. He never met a stranger; he was loved by so many. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Dave is preceeded in death by his parents William Jenkins and Anna Stratton, his younger brother Jay Jenkins and step brother Terry Fuller.

Dave is survived by his sister, Cathy and brother in law Buddy Thomas; his brother, Mark Jenkins and sister in law Terri and his brother Bill Jenkins and sister in law Ladonna ; his step mother, Reatha Jenkins; step sister, Barbara Sanders, step sister, Karen Sealy; daughters, Barbara Jenkins and Latisha Jenkins; son, James David Jenkins and several grandchildren. He also has several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathon Dumas, Jonah Dumas, Triston Dumas, Shane Wells, Jason Thompson and Charlie Pardue.
