Connie Henson Jennings was born on August 22, 1945 in Ruston, Louisiana. She fell asleep in death on October 27, 2020. Connie dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized on June 14, 1957. She served as a regular pioneer as a teenager and worked along with Brothers Bud Hasty and Tom McClain, who were sent to Ruston as fulltime ministers to work the territory in Lincoln Parish. Connie married in 1964 to her husband, Charles Jennings. She was associated with several congregations over the years such as Minden, Louisiana; Chickasha, Oklahoma; Jonesboro, Louisiana and then English Ruston, Louisiana.

Connie loved flowers and animals. She would put a flower in her hand and wait for a butterfly to light on her hand. Connie truly looked forward to the resurrection hope and being reunited with all her loved ones again. She talked to anyone who would listen about the Kingdom hope. (Isaiah 33:24)

At the international convention in Arlington, she was amazed at the huge screen. She said, "That brother is looking right at me". In Jonesboro, she was able to attend some meetings, go in the ministry and attend several conventions and assemblies. After she moved to Ruston and was unable to attend meetings, she faithfully listened to the meetings on KH conference. While listening on Zoom, she was delighted to hear the friends joining Zoom and saying hello. Connie visualized them coming in the door and when they told her they were not coming in the door she said, "Don't spoil it for me". When cart witnessing was introduced, she said, "I don't see why everyone is excited about that. We did that 60 years ago!".

Connie is preceded in death by parents: Andrew Newton Henson and wife Mattie Pearl Holloway Henson; husband: Charles D. Jennings; daughter: Lori Jennings Crow; brother: Lester K. Henson; sister: Gloria A. Henson Woods and grandson: John Michael Crow.

Connie is survived by daughter: Amie Lin Hendrix; brother: Paul Henson and wife Patricia; three sisters: Grace H. Howard, Maudie H. Thomas and Katherine H. (Ashley) Ambrose; four grandsons: Dakota Lanphear, Jordan Hendrix, Charlie Crow, Cordell Crow and one great granddaughter.
