Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Aaron, age 84 of Hico, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Hico Baptist Church with Rev. Don Cardin and Rev. Barry Aaron officiating.  Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Christine was born to Iva Knox Owen and Robert Caleb Owen on November 24, 1933 in Hico, LA and went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2018 at her daughter's house.  She was a devoted housewife who loved her family and her church and was loved by her church family at Hico Baptist Church where she was baptized and attended all of her life.  Christine also loved to shop, flowers, gardening, going to junk auctions and was known for her veggie soup. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Andy Aaron who died July 12, 2017 at the age of 85.

Christine is survived by two daughters:  Lorene Aaron Stuart and Diane Aaron Martin both of Dubach; son: Kenneth Lee Aaron and wife Cynthia of Farmerville; four grandchildren: Kenneth Aaron, Jr., Joseph Scott Aaron, Christina Aaron Davis, Jonathan Aaron Martin; six great grandchildren: Braden Aaron, Bailey Davis, Georgia Aaron, Gracelee Aaron, Gage Wade and Greenlee Wade and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wants to thank the pastor of Hico Baptist Church, his wife, and all the church members for the prayers.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time Tuesday at the church.
