Visitation for Chase Brownfield will be held at 12:00 PM with services beginning at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Life Church.LA in Ruston, LA. Pastor Chris Witt and Pastor Dallas Witt will be officiating. Burial will follow at Kilpatrick Memorial Garden under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Chase Evans Brownfield, age 29, of Shreveport, LA, was born on December 21, 1992 and joined the Lord on August 18, 2022. Chase is survived by his six children: Brice, Bentley, Ross, Evan, Kadyn, and KJ; mother: Sue Selmic and stepfather: Rastko Selmic; father: Brent Brownfield; brother: Austin Brownfield and wife Tara Brownfield, brother: Taylor Brownfield and wife Lauren Brownfield; grandmother: Vilma Whitlock, and grandfather: Gene Brownfield.

Chase is preceded in death by his sister: Devin Leigh Brownfield; grandfather: Donald Evans Whitlock, and grandmother: Betty Lois Brownfield.

Chase was a person who could light up the room.  He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.  Chase enjoyed fishing, racing cars/dirt bikes, and sitting outside in his hammock. Chase was also an accomplished automotive salesman. If you knew Chase, then you knew he was always on the go.  Chase touched many hearts and will be missed by all.

Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Brownfield, Taylor Brownfield, Caleb Wilkes, Justin Norman, Sean Madden, Ceylon Godfrey, and Brenner Mabry.

Due to this sudden, tragic incident, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations toward funeral expenses.
