Graveside services for Mr. Charles White Gullatt, age 92 of Dubach, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston, LA with Darrell Newsom officiating.   Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Charles was born on February 24, 1929 in Ruston to Charles and Bonnie White Gullatt and passed away on October 5, 2021 in Ruston.  He was a graduate of Ruston High School and Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Business.  Charles was a Lieutenant in the US Navy as an Aviator during the Korean Conflict.  He was the last living TBM (torpedo bomber) aviator.   He worked as a distributor for Arkansas Fuel Oil (CITGO) where he bought and sold fuel.  Charles lived in Alabama for thirty-five years and worked as an insurance agent for Alabama Farmers Co-op.  He retired in 1998 and moved back to Ruston where he worked with the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office Scope Division.  Charles was a Master Mason for more than fifty-eight years.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Charles Wren Gullatt and two sisters:  Evelyn Cook and Bonnie Brown.

Charles is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jane Chastain Gullatt of Dubach, LA and daughter, Pam Gullatt of Dubach, LA.
