Funeral Services for Charles Elvin Bayne, age 90 of Dubach, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA with Rev. Doug De Graffenried from Trinity Methodist Cathedral and Elder Kent Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Charles was a draftsman mechanical designer at Ford Bacon & Davis in Monroe, LA.  He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and was like a family member to all that knew him.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Elois Savanna and Walter Bayne; his two sons: Charles Robert Bayne and Richard Edward Bayne; three sisters: Melba Khalaf, Billie M. Willis and Mary Frances "Doll" Savana White.

Charles is survived by his twin brother, Earl Calvin Bayne; two grandsons: Charles Walter Bayne and John Robert Bayne; nieces and nephews: Ramona Maxwell, Randa and Ray Gilliam, Becky and Bruce Freebairn, Yvonne Douglas, Steven and Angela Bayne, Shari and Ardis Tooke, Janice and Dale Young, Diane Bucek, and Robert Bliss.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Bayne, Ardis Tooke, Dale Young.

Honorary pallbearers: Jerry Khalaf, Ray Gilliam, and Bruce Freebairn, and Steven Bayne
