Charlene Skipper Sherrill "MeMe" born February 20, 1937 and went to be with her Lord Friday, September 3, 2022 in Ruston, Louisiana after a brief illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln Parish.  She was a home maker and a faithful Wal Mart employee for 20 plus years. She loved sewing and wood crafting, working in her flower beds, and going fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Erma Skipper, her husband Curt Sherrill, and sisters Bobbie Lolley, and Doris Theodos.

She is survived by her brother A.L. Skipper (Cecelia), her five children Terry Barnett (Sonny), Curtis Richard Sherrill "Ricky", Mickey "Mule" Sherrill (Deana), Charles Sherrill, and Johnny "Smack" Sherrill. Ten grandchildren Lisa Lowery, William Barnett (Crystal), Curtis Richard Sherrill II "Richie" (Danielle), Joey Sherrill (Holly), Andy Sherrill (Sabrina), April Hartley (Marvin), Mickey Howard Sherrill II "JR", Kingston Sherrill, Kenlyn Sherrill, and Charlene Jackson (who she raised like a daughter)(Lynn). She has seventeen great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
