Ms. Carrie Jane Jordan Trull, age 84 of Simsboro, LA was born May 13, 1939 in Hamburg, AR to John and Annis Stanley Jordan and passed away May 23, 2023 in Simsboro. For 25 years, she was employed as quality control for Ball-Foster Glass Plant in Simsboro and was a member of the Glass Molder's Union. Carrie loved to travel and to go fishing. She enjoyed working in her yard and in her garden. Carrie enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading as well. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren. Carrie liked to play cards and occasionally did some quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jerry Floyd Trammell; brothers: Billy W. Jordan, Randall L. Jordan, Johnny Jordan, Jerry L. Jordan, Roger Jordan and Allen Jordan; and sisters Candice Farn Jordan, Barbara Ann Jordan Davis and Norma S. Jordan Moore.

Carrie is survived by her sons Tommy Wayne Trammell of Bernice, LA and Richard Arthur Trammell of Simsboro, LA; daughter Toni Gail Trammell Merritt of Hilly, LA; brothers Carl Lee Jordan of CA and Clark Gayle Jordan of Little Rock, AR; sisters Carolyn Sue Jordan Houser of Wichita, KS and Rosemary Jordan Ketchis of AK; grandchildren: Derrick Forney, Dalton Trammell, Dallas Trammell, Dillon Trammell, Kirsty Trammell, Kristin Watkins, Tiffany Alverez, Heather Trammell, Tyler Trammell and Grace Trammell; many great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and many friends.
