Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Lonidier, age 53, of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Key officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Mrs. Carolyn was born June 16, 1967 and passed away April 15, 2021 in Ruston after a 10 year long battle with ALS.

Carolyn loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Some of her favorite past times included driving down old country roads and also hunting for treasures whether it was by going to garage sales or metal detecting.  She was a proud member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.  She is preceded in death by her parents: Martha M. Mantooth and Henry Paul Morris.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, Danny Lonidier; three children:  Brandon Morris, Branson Morris, Ashley Pyles and husband Brandon Pyles; four grandchildren:  Noah Morris, Huck Morris, Chloe Pyles, and Leo Pyles; beloved pets, Minnie and Wesley; siblings:  Barbara Young and husband Rick, Gail Morris, Paul Morris, Kenny Morris, Teresa Morris (Dee Tatum), and Mary Schapatone; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Pye, Josh Pye, Bradley Pye, Kendal Owens, Johnathon Impson, Bobby Jones.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Collie and Caleb Copeland.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
