Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene Colvin, age 88, of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2019, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach with Rev. Cory Bruce and Claude Cox officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach, LA, under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Colvin was born May 2, 1931, in the Fellowship Community to Robert Crosby and Ora May Evans Colvin.  He died in Ruston, May 9, 2019.  Mr. Colvin was the youngest of four siblings (all deceased).  He was the business owner of Colvin's Service Station for over 40 years.  He was a Barak Shriner and a 32 ^nd degree Mason.   He enjoyed hunting and loved watching the New Orleans Saints and LSU Football.  Mr. Colvin was a member of Dubach Baptist Church in Dubach, LA.

Mr. Colvin is survived by his wife of 61 years: Lillie V. Colvin; his son and daughter-in-law: Claude E. Cox and Beulah Mae of Katy, TX; daughter: LaWanda Cox Stewart of Magnolia, AR; grandchildren: Shelly Snider and husband Gene of Magnolia, AR, Scott Greer and wife Lolie of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Jay Cox and wife Rebecca of Sugar Land, TX.  Nine great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  A number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be:  Bill Waltz, Ronnie Thomas, Loye Albritton, Roye Albritton, Loyd Dean Colvin, Jay Cox, Gene Snider and Larry House.

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Jerry Lee Smith, Scott Greer, Dustin Greer and Jeremy Snider.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM, Monday until service time at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach, LA.
