Graveside services for Billye Sue Younse, age 84, of Ruston, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Rock Corner Cemetery in Dubach, LA with Rev. Paul Watts officiating.  Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA

Mrs. Younse was born January 7, 1935 in Ruston, LA to Robert and Rena Otwell. She was the rock of our family and she loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and loved her sweets. She also enjoyed gardening, watching the birds and playing cards on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at the Family Life Center with her friends. She served on various committees at Emanuel Baptist Church. A special thanks to The Ruth Sunday School Class and their fellowship with which she enjoyed sharing her love for Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Younse; great-granddaughter, Mattie Jean Posey; parents, Robert and Rena Otwell; brother, Rayburn Otwell and sisters, Dorothy Farley, Virginia Cassel and Ann Taylor.

Mrs. Younse is survived by two daughters: Peggy Younse Posey and Ronny, and Patty Gay and Randy; three grandchildren: Laura Posey and Ben Willis, Will Gay and Melany and Gene Posey and Robin; six great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Gay, Abigail Gay, Kylie Willis, Kollyns Willis, Blakelyn Posey and Ronni Faith Posey and brother, Glyn Otwell.

Also the family would like to thank Professional Hospice Care, Estelle Outley, Ann Jones, and Tender Touch for taking care of Mom.
