Funeral services for Mr. Billy Hogan Jarmon, age 78 of Ruston, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Temple Baptist Church Sanctuary in Ruston with Dr. Reggie Bridges and Rev. Dale Oden officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Billy was born March 21, 1944 to William Allen Hogan and Sarah Loise Hendricks Jarmon, and he was escorted by angels into the gates of Heaven on October 30, 2022. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years, and he enjoyed being around and helping his fellow firefighters. He spent many hours riding his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and enjoyed riding with his fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. He was a Lincoln Parish school bus driver for eighteen years and loved all of his school kids. Billy enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family was most important to him, and he loved and cared for them with all of his heart and soul. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Eddie Jarmon, Lee Jarmon, and Willie Hogan.

Left to cherish Billy's life and memory are his wife Rita Jarmon of Ruston; children: Danny Jarmon of Ruston, Laurie and husband Tim Colvin of Ruston, and Kerri Jarmon and husband Michael Perry of Farmerville, LA; six grandchildren – Macy and husband John Dover, Megan Jarmon, Emily Colvin, Malarie Jarmon, Sadie Colvin, and Colby Jarmon; two great-grandchildren – Emersyn and Ellis Dover; brothers Jimmy Jarmon and wife Carolyn of Choudrant, LA and Walter Hogan and wife Nikki of Dallas, TX; sisters Diane Jones and Donna Hamza both of Boca Raton, FL; and a host of family and friends.

Donations may be made in Billy's name to Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.

Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston..
