Betty Lee Daniel was born on May 26, 1938 and went to her Heavenly home on February 29, 2024 at age 85. She was an avid golfer in her younger days and spent many hours on the golf course. Betty loved to fish and work outside with her flowers. Most of all, she loved cooking for her family and trying out new recipes. Many of her recipes can be found in local recipe books. She taught her family by example how to be a faithful spouse and to love unconditionally. She loved her family with all her heart, but most of all, she loved her God and put all her faith in Him. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Annie Mae Brown; brothers: Lavon Brown, Eugene Brown and James Brown; sister, Katherine Durrett and son, Paul Allan Daniel.
Left to cherish Betty's memory include her husband of almost 68 years, John Henry Daniel of Dubach, LA; son, Carl Henry Daniel and wife Rebecca of Fort Walton, FL; grandchildren, Halee and Roxanne; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and J.J.; brothers: Charles Brown and wife Dorothy of Farmerville, LA and Kevin Brown of Dubach, LA; sisters-in-law: Ann Brown of Bernice, LA, Liz Brown of Dubach, LA and Jean Brown of Bryant, AR and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Tommy Durrett, Jr., Justin Simpson, Ben Heard, Cody Simpson and Jacob Heard.
Visitation will be12:30 PM until service time Sunday at Owens Memorial Chapel. Our family is so grateful for the sweet and kind people at Arbor Rose Retirement Center, Elara Home Health, Nurse Nicole and Elara Hospice.
