Betty Jean Ball, daughter of Robert Edward and Ola Mae Stowe, was born on October 9, 1935 in San Antonio, TX and passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Ruston, LA.   She is preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Sue "Susie" Lafoon; half-sister's:  Viola Miller and Helen Miller.

Betty worked as a secretary at LA Tech in the college aviation department and for City Hall in the utilities department.   She is survived by her husband, Jack Ball, Sr.; son's:  Jack Ball, Jr. and his wife, Kay; James "Jimmy" Clayton Ball and wife, Cassie; son-in-law, David Lafoon; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
