Arthur B. Hall " Grandy" of Ruston was born March 17, 1945 and passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of November 15, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Sharon Hall, and son: Jeffery Hall.  Mr. Hall is survived by his children: Jennifer and husband Claude Kimrey of Ruston, Jamie Hall of Lawton, OK, Judith and husband John Perritt of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren: Eric Butt and wife Kristy of Ruston, Justin Butt of Choudrant, Joseph Butt and wife Tori of Ruston, Zachary Perritt of Fargo, ND, Matthew Perritt of Fargo, ND, Katie Hall of Texarkana, TX; great-grandchildren: Payton Butt and Cassidy Butt; and of course, his beloved German Shepard: ' LT .'

As a decorated Vietnam veteran, Mr. Hall served as an infantry officer in the US Army. He was a published author of inspirational Christian books, as well as an ordained minister and ordained deacon. Mr. Hall was an avid deer hunter who also enjoyed bass fishing, and gardening. Above all, Art Hall will always be remembered as a man of fierce love and commitment to the Lord and to his family.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA. Officiating the service will be his dear friend Pastor Greg Tipton. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
