Arden "Lance"
Dutcher
Aug 8, 1960 — Jun 14, 2022
Arden "Lance" Dutcher, age 61 of Dubach, LA, was born August 8, 1960 to Shirley and Robert Dutcher in Wellsboro, PA, and he passed away June 14, 2022 in West Monroe, LA. Our daddy was a very loved man by many during his journey here on Earth. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather – and a proud one! Lance loved to fish, but he couldn't catch one, LOL, oh, Daddy, I'm sorry for that one! His daughter, Christine D. Roton, was the light of his life; she was his only biological daughter with his wife Brenda Dutcher, whom he loved with all his heart, even after their divorce. At the time of their marriage, Brenda had two children, Corey Langlinais and Maxine Langlinais, and Lance loved them as his own. Corey was four, and Maxine was eight. He never made the difference between them and his own. That's the kind of man Lance was. He was a "go with the flow kind of man" and hated conflict, but caused conflict, LOL, sorry, Daddy, again. Lance was a stinker to the fullest...that was Lance for you. He never sugar-coated anything…he was Lance, and what you saw is what you got. Lance was everybody's friend, including his kids. He wasn't the one to do the whooping; that was Mama's job! Lance was incredibly intelligent and creative, very admired, a master carpenter, and anything he worked on turned to gold – a work of art! No Joke!
Lance had three grandchildren, Alyssa, Damian, and Andrew Blanchard, and one great-granddaughter, Madelynn Rose Cuevas. Before he left this Earth, he resided with his daughter, Christine, and her husband, Cory Roton, who took care of him until his ticket was called by God. Lance loved Jesus very much and was a changed man. He left us in peace, but, with a lot of sadness, we will miss him until we get to heaven and see him again when God pulls our ticket. Daddy, we love you!
