Graveside services for James "Allen" Hawkins will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Gene Murphy officiating at Simsboro City Cemetery in Simsboro, Louisiana.  Services will be under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, Louisiana.

Allen was born May 21, 1953 and he passed peacefully from this life into the arms of his loving Savior, Sunday morning, June 13, 2021, at the age of 68.  Allen was born in Monroe, Louisiana and was married to his devoted wife, Lisa Kay Hawkins for 48 years.  He owned Allen's Automotive in Simsboro, Louisiana for 26 years.  One of his favorite things to do was to be on the road riding leisurely through the country side.

Allen is survived by his wife, Lisa Kay Hawkins; son, James Ellis Hawkins; sister, Gloria Jean Boutwell; nephews, Tyson Boutwell and Tristan Boutwell.  He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ethel Hawkins; brother, Charles Hawkins.
