Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Jarmon Barnett Enis, age 94 of Dubach, will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach with Rev. Brad Pixley, Rev. Chris Pixley, and Rev. Randy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Enis was born on September 2, 1910, in Lincoln Parish to Benjamin and Jeffie Shaw Jarmon. She was a homemaker, a sitter and a caregiver for her community. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach for 66 years and the Dubach Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 30 years serving in many different roles. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Mrs. Enis was very giving of herself and was known as "Ma" by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Enis is survived by her eight children: Martha B. Boyd of West Monroe, Ann B. Miller of Dubach, Sammie J. Freeman and husband James E. of Weatherford, TX, Pat B. Shaw and husband "Sug" of Dubach, Lewis Barnett of Dubach, Lois Pixley and husband Dale of Farmerville, Richard D. Barnett and wife Kay of Lafayette, Dinah Brazzel and husband Jerry of Dubach; 25 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Enis was preceded in death by her husbands Louis Stafford Barnett and John B. Enis, two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Enis will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 from 5-8 PM at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice, Mrs. Enis was a lady who rose early and worked late into the night to care for her family. This was a really talented woman that stayed faithful to her Lord, her family and a multitude of friends.
