On April 20, 2012 Rodney Vicente Rodriguez quietly slipped away into eternity to meet his Lord Jesus. He was blessed to be married to and survived by his wife of seven years Candace "Candi" Dawn Holloway Rodriguez. He was honored to be the father of a one year old son named Charles Luke Vicente Rodriguez and was awaiting the birth of his daughter Isabella Grace Rodriguez. He is also survived by his mother Martiza Rodriguez and brother Ryan Rodriguez. Rodney was employed by Community Trust Bank in Ruston.

The visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.unti 7:00 p.m. on April 23rd at Owens Funeral Home in Ruston and the memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 24th at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston. The interment will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Eros, LA following the memorial service. Dr. Mike Holloway, Dr. Scott Thompson and Rev. Brett Patterson will officiate the service.
