O wens Memorial Chapel opened in 1991 on the grounds of Forest Lawn Memorial Park. One of the owners of Forest Lawn, A.G. Owens Jr. and his son, Blain Owens decided that a new funeral home was needed in Lincoln Parish. The father and son team still own and operate the funeral home today.

The funeral home gets its name from A.G. Owens Sr. and Emma Lou Owens, the founders of Forest Lawn Memorial Park which opened in 1951. It stands as a memorial to them and the heritage that we have in this community.

Each year, we experience an increase in the number of families that choose us for their loved ones services. This success is due in part to the familes that we have served in the past telling everyone of our superior services and our genuine concern for all.
